EC had just picked up a 1st and goal at the LRA 6 with under 2 minutes left in the half with the score tied 14-14. A run to the 4 out of the wildcat formation set up 2nd and goal. EC set up in wildcat again but tried to fool the Bee defense with a jump pass over the middle that was picked off in the endzone and returned to the 10. LRA had only 1 timeout left and 90 yards to get in endzone. They hit a 74 yard pass play that took them from their own 13 to the EC 13. 3 plays later they score and take a 21-14 lead into halftime. LRA got the ball to start the 3rd quarter and marched down and scored giving them a 28-14 lead that they never relinquished. This momentum swing was too much for EC to overcome. I agree,turn over in endzone and then giving up long pass that later scored before halftime was a big swing against a good team that they couldn't overcome.
