To me, the difference in this one was the couple of series right before the half. EC had just picked up a 1st and goal at the LRA 6 with under 2 minutes left in the half with the score tied 14-14. A run to the 4 out of the wildcat formation set up 2nd and goal. EC set up in wildcat again but tried to fool the Bee defense with a jump pass over the middle that was picked off in the endzone and returned to the 10. LRA had only 1 timeout left and 90 yards to get in endzone. They hit a 74 yard pass play that took them from their own 13 to the EC 13. 3 plays later they score and take a 21-14 lead into halftime.

LRA got the ball to start the 3rd quarter and marched down and scored giving them a 28-14 lead that they never relinquished.

This momentum swing was too much for EC to overcome.

Spot on with that assessment, IMHO, East Chambers was the better team and should have won the game. The lack of pressure on the QB did them in.

Good year EC, I enjoyed watching !!!! I agree,turn over in endzone and then giving up long pass that later scored before halftime was a big swing against a good team that they couldn't overcome.
