Like you. Lol at the first of the year you didn't give this team any credit just like every other year. You also didn't think we would make the playoffs so tell us how you want your crow!!!

Whoaaaa. I said 6-4 or 5-5. I have been right on all losses, my only bad prediction was BH which we won. I even damn near predicted the half and final Crosby score!!!!!!!! I like my crow grilled though!!!!!

My brain is a little fuzzy from all the Tecmo Bowl I have been playing lately, but I am pretty sure there is a post out there where you said PN-G would not make the playoffs going into the last week of the season.

I never predicted our win, losses wrong. I did not think Nederland would lose to give us a way in.

Not a UIL issue. Back in the mid 2000s, Texas High and Highland Park played in Shreveport. Story goes Highland Park did not feel Rose Stadium in Tyler was a large enough venue to host the game. They wanted Ford Stadium at SMU to be the neutral site. Texas High said no as that is in their backyard. Agreed to flip for a neutral location. HP picked Ford Stadium and expected TH to pick Rose. Texas High won the coin toss and picked Independence Stadium in Shreveport. Not sure on the back story on Nachitoches, but suspect PNG did not want Lufkin as the Tigers had familiarity with the facilities. Only reason SFA was not selected was (1) not available or (2) PNG had an issue with Nac is in our district. Pure speculation on my part.

I wonder (just speculating) if what you said about PNG were true, another reason that makes better sense to me is that PNG needs more room for there fan base.

I saw somewhere they were having a hard time finding a neutral location due to Thanksgiving. Hosts did not want to have to work their staffs. Understandable with all the stress of dealing with Covid. Glad the PNG fan base is so loyal to the team. Enjoyed following the Tigers each week in their run to the State Championship in 2002. Unfortunately, I have relocated to another part of the state and can’t make the games. Glad UIL has loosened up on the live-streaming.

Per athletic office at Northwestern, in the state of Louisiana, stadiums have the right to enforce face mask rules at all games. Everyone needs to make sure to bring a mask in case we are required to wear one.
Also reminder the Christmas Festival is going on near stadium.  LEAVE EARLY!!!

In Louisiana the higher seed gets home field all the way until the championship game !! All championship games are played in the superdome!!!

Now if Texas followed Louisiana and Texas High met a team from Brownsville in the semifinals, the trip to Texarkana be about 650 miles. Neutral sites are more practical.
