I bet my house that C S doesn't score 28.  matter of fact the odds are heavily against them scoring 20.

Carthage last loss was in 2018 in the semi finals against Liberty Hill 44=41. Their current 41 game win streak started game 1 of 2019 season. Guess how many teams have scored 20 or more points against Carthage during streak. A grand total of 6.

2019- Kilgore 41, Crandall 21, Lampasas 42, Waco LaVega 28 (State Finals)

2020- Kilgore 21 (Jasper being the only team to play them within 20 points all season 35-18)

2021- Crosby 24

Last season they beat C S 42-14 and Carthage’s defense is better this season.

All that history is irrelevant Friday evening,they have to lose at some point and imo that’s a very reasonable score prediction…it could happen man

Yeah we know that, I'm just hoping they take a little starch out of China Spring before next week.

I think it may be time to congratulate China Springs on a great season, and good luck in basketball.

Carthage beat a pretty durn good 5A-D2 Crosby team, and for those that didn’t watch any of it, they did it while trying to decide which QB to use.  Spending almost half the game with the wrong one.  They’re not just good, they’re real good.  Would most likely win 4A-D1 and may could win 5A-D2.  That’s just my opinion so don’t break your keyboard in rebuttal, I just think they’re that good, and with each Crosby win, it enforces my belief.

I have to be honest here tho, if Crosby and Carthage lined up today it would be a hell of a game. Both teams were looking for there identity, Crosby found there's during the barbers hill game and hasn't looked back

I agree.  Both teams were in building mode, and both have improved.  Both may win State Titles.  That says volumes.  And despite who may win if there was a rematch, as you said, it’d be a heckuva game.

The whole offensive line was out with covid. Had to use jv players.

Can't agree with you here. Our offense is too inconsistent holding on to the ball. We're good but our offense is in rebuilding mode.
