I know it's only been two games but it looks like the Raiders are the real deal again this year. Can't wait until we clash with Silsbee in January.

I went to it, saw on social network it was free to get in so I went.

So Jasper doesn't have a good team? I know Shepherd is on the skids but Jasper is usually decent.

It looks like Huffman is a mediocre team so I guess our first real tests may come during the Nederland tournament.

Lumberton hasn’t played anyone yet now it is interesting with the points they have put up, I think PNG will be a good test they will have football guys back, I did see Lumberton have 2 big boys sitting out Saturday so I’m sure that will help when they get those guys back

We won’t be playing Huffman, they canceled on us Saturday. That’s why we played Jasper instead

If you people can't see the machine that Mitchell has built over there, then you are crazy.  Silsbee is the only team in this district that can beat the Raiders and as we seen last year, that's not a foregone conclusion.

I like the job Coach Mitchell is doing at Lumberton but I guess you’ll have to call me crazy. I think Lumberton will have some good games against WOS, Orangefield and LCM. If everyone is healthy Silsbee is 20 points better than the rest of the the field.

I think they’ll have a pretty good team this year, there have just been a couple of posters on a couple of different threads that overreacted to some blowout wins against some very bad teams.

I know the two teams we’ve played aren’t good but have to give it to our boys for finding more people that can score after losing Brock from last season. Our coaches are doing a heck of a job!

I was actually figuring after the young man from last year graduated we'd be back to mediocrity but I think we are easily going to be one of the top ten teams in the area. Coach Josh is turning out to be a great coach.

Lumberton beat y’all with  a full team last year at Silsbee, don’t blame Corona for that, Lumberton might not beat y’all this year but I wouldn’t make the excuse of the Covid virus for y’all getting beat in Yalls own gym with a full group.
