KFDM COOP Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 Paiement Called up to AHL Rockford BEAUMONT, TX—Texas Wildcatters Head Coach and VP of Hockey Operations Malcolm Cameron announced Wednesday that defenseman Jonathan Paiement has been called up to AHL Rockford. Paiement, 22, has been a stalwart on the Wildcatters blue line since beginning his pro career in Texas last season. He played in all 72 regular season games, leading Texas defensemen with 43 points (6-37=43), and was a nominee for the PHPA 2006-07 Ironman Award. Through seven games this season the Montreal native has one goal, five assists, and leads the team with a +9 rating. Paiement was a round 8 selection (#247 overall) by the New York Rangers in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
