godogs Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 i have a sort of silly question...but which cleat is better?the detachable ones with the black screw ins?or the molded cleats(the clear ones that are attached) the black rubber cleats are worthless in my eyes(and cheap)
KFDM COOP Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 Not a silly question...There are several different types out now a days.
Bread Posted May 25, 2006 Report Posted May 25, 2006 when i played i used soccer cleats, and alot of other players use them too, not just because im a kicker, but they have good traction and stick in the ground well
cardinal81o7 Posted May 25, 2006 Report Posted May 25, 2006 they use them for different types of surfaces. the screw ins come in different lengths for more traction for grass or a muddy field. the clear plastic kind w/ all the little cleats are more for field turf like at texas stadium. i prefer the clear plastic, they give you more overall coverage, you can use them on any suface except old astro-turf, and they just look better
