I don’t think Foreman will even want the job after they passed on him when Hooks retired.  He’s now coaching 6a in Killeen and apparently they’re treating him very good over there.  Not many coaches would leave a 6a job for a 4a gig…

you’re not from Orange, it’s very much in the talk amongst the town.

WOS has a way better chance on getting him a ring than staying where he is at in 6A if he wanted the job…

Well Dang, I'm,  not ready for coach T. to retire, I was hoping that he would stay on as AD at least.

Never thought about that,it would be nice to have that setup so other sports could get some attention. It’s rough on one guy to it all, small schools probably won’t do it though!

Congratulations to Cornell, it was an amazing ride he took us on. To be a major part of the highest percentage  winning team in the state of Texas is no small feat Wishing him the best in his retirement.

As far as his replacement, don’t think it will be Foreman . If they don’t hire an elite coach then WOS will no longer be an elite program

Not necessarily.  Looks like all the athletes in Orange has been gradually shifting north IH-10.  Moreso since Coach Peevey is there.

It takes a special type of coach for this job. Someone who knows how the program operates and can keep the traditions alive. It has to be someone who has been involved with the program that won’t come in and try to change the system that has worked for many many of years. I would like to see this program keep doing what it has been doing and keep everything the same because it works and it works very well.
