Wondering Hickman will keep any of the current assistants on staff or bring in some of his buddies?  Or if some of the assistances will leave on their own?

also wonder if he will give up being vice principle? Seems like he wouldn’t have the time to do both AD and VP jobs. At least not very well.

From the link...

The vote was 4-2 with Gina Yeaman, Ruth Hancock, Linda Platt-Bryant, and Demetrius Hunter voting For Hickman. Tricia Stroud and Tommy Wilson voted Against. Board member Roderick Robertson did not attend.

Thanks for the coverage last night @AshlyKBMT. Always keep it classy. The list of applicants is pointless now.

According to the hiring process we just witnessed, a new Assistant principal should be promoted from within. Gotta keep those interview expenses to a minimum.

Dyer has said he's retiring in May. Here's all the ???'s we have about the upcoming coaching staff...

Head Coach: Hiawatha Hickman
Assistant Coaches:
??? (Defensive Coordinator)
??? (Offensive Coordinator)
??? (Defensive Line)
??? (Defensive Ends)
??? (Wide Receivers)
??? (Running backs)
??? (Wide Receivers)
??? (Quarterbacks)

The search committee was a farce. It was pointless. Only done for the sake of appearances. My wife knows someone who is very very very close to one of the committee members. Close as you can be without being the actual member. Wife was told 2 weeks ago this. Said any name that was brought up no matter who it was was shot down. The superintendent had only one name to ever recommend and that was Hickman. Superintendent thy will be done.

Any proof of this?

Is this typical?

The timeline to take on the role full-time will go as follows. February 7- June 30, 2022, Hickman will transition from Assistant Principal to active AD in the absence of Coach Cornel Thompson. Then, beginning July 1, 2022 he will take on the Athletic Director and Head Football Coach position full-time for the Mighty Mustangs.

And next year when WO-S is 10-0 and heading into the playoffs most of these haters will be praising you. From Newton county we wish you the best.
Players are not the only ones that have to overcome diversity so do coaches.

We hope so too. CT had haters when he took over, they were at NRG and AT&T dancing in the stands.
