how many trips to state tourney have you made

Got to go last year and watched every game but 1.With 3 teams from southeast texas there it was a great trip.Hope to get to go again this year.

Well, if I make it this year (which I am pretty sure I will) it will be my 37th consecutive year. My dad took me to my first one in 1972, we have been going every year since. He actually started going in 1958, made his 50th straight state tourney this past March. God willing, he'll be there with me again this March.

Thats great aggies, I went for the first time last year and I had a blast, I will do my best not to miss another one.

Have not been in the last 12 years.  Before that, I had been to 15 straight. My dad made that our family vacation. I would like to make it as a coach since my eligibility is up.

I've been about 6 times also, and I would say that its probably the best athletic event you can possible go to.  With so many games in 3 days, its an absolute hoops junkie heaven.  Combine that with the close proximity of the hotels, great restaurants, downtown scene, and dear i forget Scholz Beer Garden, and you have yourself a man's version of "Tranquility."  LOL

BTW, I have some buddies that have been going since, I believe '86.
