Guest Nederland Bandit Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 Go show them how it's done DJ.
77 Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 Good luck DJ. Hard work and patience. Hook em!
Guest gladiator2 Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 No disrespect but does most people really believe that he will see the field for U.T.? Personally I don't think so. Most kids that play at U.T. pretty much dominate games by themselves in high school and I have not seen this out of him. Certainly it must be an honor but I just don't think so. Hopefully he will prove me wrong because I love seeing local kids make it in college.
77 Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 Just getting the chance is huge, and you never know what could happen ,plus a degree.(paid for)

With that being said, we have had a lot of players in the past with more impact on the defensive side that never got a collegiate chance. Michael Boyd, Ryan Cobb, Ryan Piletere, etc just to name a few. The recruiters see something in DJ that makes them want him. He does have a ton of potential, but I would also like to see him DOMINATE a game. Maybe tonight I will get my wish!

UTfanatic Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 certainly not to dis DJ, but I'm not sure what he'll end up playing. To me, he is a tweener. Maybe not fast enough for linebacker, maybe not big enough for DE. Certainly glad for UT. Hope DJ becomes a star. We need defensive help and fast at UT.
