Looking more like LCM, Lumberton and Orangefield will be competing for 2-4 spots. WOS will win some games (and may well “challenge” Silsbee more than all the other district teams), but unless they find some semblance of consistency fast, they may find themselves watching the playoffs despite having the 2nd or 3rd most talented team in the district. Yesterday was a bad loss.kids have a long way to go.want make the playoffs.they give up too many easy baskets.hoping these kids can start going to AAU or something.BB IQ isn't quite there.just alot of learning for these kids.they do play hard though. Jack of All Trades Posted December 21, 2021 Report Posted December 21, 2021 No discipline, our boys do whatever they want to on offense. We’re out of shape, don’t share the ball, and argue more than we play ball. It’s sad we were on the right track but now I don’t think we will be top 5 Quote
Boneyard Boys Posted December 22, 2021 Report Posted December 22, 2021 I know I'm probably a little late to the party on this, just rounding into basketball form. But did the new WOS coach move on already? Quote
catfever Posted December 22, 2021 Report Posted December 22, 2021 The coach the Mustangs had last year is an assistant at Hardin-Jefferson now. It appears the new coach this year is having some buy-in issues with some of the players. dj and Boneyard Boys 1 1 Quote

And not only that I really think the even know how to trap to create turnovers.it will be a long year this basketball season.hopefully by next year they will understand a lil better. Quote
Jack of All Trades Posted December 23, 2021 Report Posted December 23, 2021 @djthese boys know how to trap but we’re out of shape. 6 of these guys were on varsity last year with 3 of them starting and 2 coming off the bench. If we can’t figure it out this year it won’t be figured out next year. Coach is over his head here, he has been cussed out by two of his players during a game and still let them play. Coach T was successful for so many years because of discipline. Last years coach had discipline and so did the 2 before. These guys do what they want and it shows. Quote

no-look Posted December 28, 2021 Report Posted December 28, 2021 I’m guessing anything other than football at WOS is “other sports” Quote
