I don't think the rest of the region is quite as tough as it was last year(I could be wrong, but I don't think I am), so I think this district could get to state. You gotta catch some breaks to get there though. If you make it, anything can happen. I would think that Sinton will be very tough to beat at state though. They didn't lose hardly anyone from last year and region II is always tough. I'd love to see my Dawgs get another shot at it though.

I do have to say that i think my old team...JASPER has i very good shot at winning it again...they have the team...just got to get them mentaly tough...and i think Mixon is going to handle that!

Boy! I would like to see any team from this district win the state championship in any sport, but I just think it is way too early to predict a state championship even before practice has started.
