But there was good basketball in PA  before Coleman, Lofton, Abram, and Clover were there.  Probably not on a state caliber, but still, good basketball.

BJ Tyler and Steve Jackson say hello 😉

I was talking about the more recent pre-Lofton/Abram/Clover days…

Gotcha - basically after Memorial opened.  Based on accomplishments (in HS), that group is the second best since Memorial opened (except for Clover who started and played heavy minutes on the best Memorial team).  Chatman, Valsin, Keller, Jones, Wesley, etc was clearly the best group.

J’covan Brown is the only one I can think of. . .  Was he at Memorial through his 4 years?? I think I remember him at Kelly one year

1 year at Kelly and the next 2 1/2 years at Memorial.  I think he got kicked off the team halfway through his Sr year.

I played against J'Covan in summer ball and remember he would put up 30+ points without breaking a sweat - most effortless (in a good way) offensive player I've ever seen at the hs level. He was born to get buckets.
