Tiger33 Posted January 22, 2022 Report Posted January 22, 2022 If I was PNG and didn’t have a Head coach kinda guy on staff. I’d call Coach Thompson he has a few years left and maybe he can guide the Indians in the right direction. Quote

Cougar14.2 Posted January 22, 2022 Report Posted January 22, 2022 Makes sense. BF was the person Riordan called to ask about the Crosby job when he was coming from Sulphur Springs. I’m sure Riordan was the first person BF called and probably got recommended by Riordan seeing as how that job would’ve been his for the taking. Mr. Buddy Garrity, prepballfan and Fat guy 2 1 Quote

Mr. Thornton Melon Posted January 22, 2022 Report Posted January 22, 2022 Faircloth was the best possible coach for PNG. They screwed up PNG Proud, bulldawg64 and KF89 2 1 Quote

PNG has more money than LCM so I don’t think they would mind matching and more to get him to jump on board. All across the board PNG is better than LCM with facilities, athletics, booster club and etc. Fat guy 1 Quote

Yes the facilities are better but it’s less drama. Mr. Thornton Melon 1 Quote

Now Alvarez is viable option for PNG but he probably wouldnt want that Fat guy, ExSportMom and bulldawg64 2 1 Quote

I don’t see him going over there. LCM is working on the bond for facilities. We will most likely be taking in Orangefield and WOS recruits😂 2wedge 1 Quote

Coach85 Posted January 22, 2022 Report Posted January 22, 2022 I believe PNG has a couple of names in mind already. As I have said before, if you don’t know the whole story then you don’t need to be making comments on who should be blamed. When or if the truth comes out those who did may be eating crow. If those in the know want you to know then they will tell you. dillonpanthers 1 Quote

TxHoops Posted January 22, 2022 Report Posted January 22, 2022 LCM has always paid more than the market demanded. In all other respects, they’ve always been pretty mediocre (with an outlier season here and there). Remarkable what he’s come in and done, especially in year one. Having said all that, he’s home and as LCMalum points out, a lot less craziness with that job. For the good Lord’s sake, look at what they endured for so long with Crouch. I don’t think the Steelers even give out that kind of job security… BEARCPA 1 Quote
