Silsbee was spotty from 3 point land.  Several air balls.  But made some timely ones.

Orangefield seems to pass up opportunities looking for Wrinkle.  If they are going to get back in this somebody else is going to have to step up.

Better step up the defense Silsbee… you don’t want to let P. Wrinkle get loose on you. Who is the slim guard they had last year, is he who I’m thinking of? Had a nice jump shot and good handles, could put up points in bunches.

Looks like it’s going to be the other Wrinkle.   So they are one faminsional.  And P is definitely a little tired.  He missed badly and committed a couple of cheap fouls.

Yes and their best player has been out the last month after being diagnosed with a rare disease.  No time table when he will be out.  If you watched either of the Silsbee games with OF last year, you know who I’m talking about.

I wondered what was going on.  It makes better sense now.  That would have shaved 10 to 15 off the margin.

Probably about right.  He’s the best shooter, ball handler and passer on the team.  But 10-20 points sounds about right.  But when you are thin offensively to begin with, pretty huge loss.  Wouldn’t make much difference tonight but may in the battle for the next 3 spots.

Hopefully the other players can continue to step up.  They played well as a team the first half of district and can hopefully carry that over the 2nd half.
