if by some miracle an 8 team district add Deer Park or Dickinson

might as well see how we stack up for the near future (6 years)

I like that thought process but keep in mind the BH of 6+ years ahead will be a different version, presumably larger, stronger, with more talent and depth. Also Deer Park and Dickinson will likely be in a 7A district in 4 or 6 years, but yes I agree with you, I welcome them as predistrict opponents.

If they go ahead and make a 7A class, depending on how many team they put in it, I think the 6A floor could be pushed down and both Crosby and BH could be over it by the '24 alignment. That would help close the gap significantly in 5A-D2.

Who will be picking PNG's non district match-ups?

I would like to see:

Scrimmages: WB (same as always) & WOS

Non District Games: PAM & Crosby or United

I think there's a lot of value in a PNG vs Crosby non-district game. PNG gets a test athletically and Crosby has to play in in maybe the toughest environment in 5A after a long bus ride which is similar to how the playoffs are. I think Coach P prefers to try to make us go 0-3 to start every season though?

I was going through BF's record looking at different things last week. Considering the caliber athletes on both sides, would you consider his wins against BU "quality" wins?

I would say yes.  His wins vs BU was during the post RJ era.  Not nearly as many athletes as BU puts out, but still got 2 consecutive wins.

We (PAM) has no business playing WO-S.  No shade but that doesn't get you ready for a possible BH/Crosby District.  I'd rather see them play WB and United non district

Lets play Edna Karr outta New Orleans. 😎

That has already happened.  The inaugural season of Memorial, DH kept his starters in and beat the Titans down in a game type situation but that was 20 years ago.

I remember running JH all over WOS then they didn't wanna play again.

    • I don’t benefit from it, that’s not my area.  But the average cost to imprison someone is around $15k per year (on average in the US) and capital cases cost somewhere between $1.5-$3M with over half being overturned or reduced to life in prison anyway.  These numbers may be inflated since the last report I read but I’m sure it would be on both sides and higher on the DP side if anything. So what’s the point?  We feel better because we got to return the favor on someone (hopefully) who committed a heinous crime?  And I don’t know I can say we have “complicated” it. Which appeal should we cut out?  Our justice system has a pecking order and we have higher courts for a reason. When we are about to impose the ultimate judgment, should we cut steps that other cases have to save a buck?  Or do we not pay for an indigent person’s experts at the trial court level because it’s too expensive? Or do we just lock them up and throw away the key (unless we later find out they weren’t actually guilty, in which case we have a key and a life we haven’t unjustly ended) and save a ton of money?  Seems to me to be an easy and obvious solution but I’m more of a pragmatist.
    • 1 thing for certain. Coach Earned 3 more years to figure it out lol
    • @CIS_org National Security Senior Fellow @BensmanTodd tells Steve Bannon how the U.S. State Department and USAID have been sending American taxpayer funds to religious nonprofits to facilitate mass immigration to our southern border. Bensman says 248 nonprofits are participating in the United Nations’ 2024 agenda to distribute $1.6 billion in cash, transportation, food, and shelter to U.S.-bound immigrants across Mexico and Latin America.
