baddog Posted February 2, 2022 Report Posted February 2, 2022 ……. So I’m sure he is forgiven. Glad he is gone. What a POS! thetragichippy Posted February 2, 2022 Report Posted February 2, 2022 I don't particularly care for the guy, but I see nothing wrong with this. Workplace romances are more than common. Heck, I met my wife at the workplace and married her 20 years later....lol Quote
tvc184 Posted February 2, 2022 Report Posted February 2, 2022 I don’t think it’s a matter of being wrong but violating company rules if I understand the article and his comments. Also in this case, sex (I am assuming) with a subordinate tends to make it appear criminally and civilly problematic as well as the appearance of a scandal affecting ratings. baddog 1 Quote

It’s funny how people can do bad things, even really bad things, apologize and things are smoothed over. Quote
CardinalBacker Posted February 2, 2022 Report Posted February 2, 2022 Dipping his pen in the company ink, I see. My guess is that ratings are terrible and this gives CNN an excuse to terminate "with cause" and avoid any potential buyouts. JMO> Quote
SmashMouth Posted February 2, 2022 Report Posted February 2, 2022 I believe it’s probably way more than meets the eye. Abysmal ratings, threats from Cuomo for being let go from CNN are just two of the reasons that come to mind. Zucker’s relationship with a subordinate has been out in the open for a long time. It’s just the excuse du jour to allow the network to sweep the real reason under the rug. Just wait for it. Quote
