Westfield basketball team is a top 10 team in 6a.

they are having to forfeit 6 district games. anyone know what happen????

 Ineligible player. The district has shifted due to those loses now wins

About a week or so ago, on twitter with video, or on YouTube with comments, they were showing this guard for Westfield, Zion something.  He put in a game winning put back dunk.  Others said it was a game winning shot.  Perhaps there were two different games

Anyway, the anonymous commentators, Westfield fans, said he was with the right team instead of with WC.   Ion know who WC is.  Westbury Christian?  I dunno.  Maybe that is relevant info, maybe not.

They are 11-0 as of now in district play.. would this knock them out the playoffs ?

Probably not, with 4 teams going.  There are 3 teams tied for 4th at 5-6.  Forfeiting 6 games would put them at 5-6, and give some of those 5-6 teams a win to change them to 6-5, but they have 3 games left.  So they’d likely end district 8-6 and advance.
