A quick look at the history between Jasper and PNG is very lopsided.

12-2-1 PNG

1934 13-0

1936 12-0

1937 13-0

1938 21-7

1939 20-0

1940 0-0

1989 29-18

1990 28-23

1991 11-10

2002 25-0 Jasper

2003 38-18

2004 20-14

2005 41-32 Jasper

2021 14-7

These schools have been playing each other since the 30s. PNG has faired well against Jasper.

Hmm wonder why

Because you are digging so deep (back to the 30s) to try to prove you are superior to a lower classification school. Yall pnger's are always living in the past because that was where the height of your existence lies. Su future es no en futbol' de Americana. Es en Futbol' de Mexico.

Because you’re in a weak district and WOS and Silsbee are your Daddy’s?

No that's not it. I repeat  ,it's because you're digging back to the 1930's to try to prove that you're better than a smaller classification team. I don't see you doing the same to let's say........ Crosby, for instance.

Jasper was the same size classification as PNG for years

You do realize that Ned, PNG, and some other schools in this area (including Jasper) have been playing football for almost a 100 years and also started out in lower classifications right?  In fact, there weren't even numbers on the classifications until the 1930s just letters.  Jasper was in the same classification as PNG until 2004 and for a few years the same district.

Jasper was in 4A along with PNG until 2002 when Jasper dropped down to 3A.

During the 70s PNG was 4A(the highest classification at the time ).

While Jasper was indeed still a 3A school. Anyone want to bet? I will bet my house.

2 semi finals (2002,2003) 1 finals appearance (2004) for Jasper. All in 3A.

Jasper did lose to png in 2004.

as a matter of fact Jasper went undefeated in the regular season in 1980 (their first year in 4A), and didn't make playoffs. Sounds crazy uh?

8-0-2 tied with Beaumont Hebert 10-10 (Hebert got the win because of penetrations)

Tied with Huntsille 15-15. Huntsville beat Hebert 16-8 in first round of playoffs on their way to a state title.
