7376HORNET Posted November 16, 2007 Report Posted November 16, 2007 It doesn't matter who is moving up or who is moving down, the only thing that matters are the games being played this week-end. Mart was favored to win STATE, so since they lost it opens up the whole playoff season to speculation. GO GET'EM HORNETS
OldSkool97 Posted November 16, 2007 Author Report Posted November 16, 2007 What are the other two opponents that the winner of this game would play?
Hornet Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 So what's the problem? We both agree we would like to see him there for the next 20 or so years. As for a prediction, Hemphill is a disiplined / well coached team. Their running game will go through Hardin like a knife through warm butter.Hemphill 45Hardin 20Well disciplined, yes, but that can only get you so far. A knife through warm butter??? LOL Looks like Hemphill brought a plastic spork instead against a side of Hardin beef... ...as the final score of this game was Hardin 51, Hemphill 28... Hardin's defense stepped up to Hemphill's running game and continued with their passing game...'Nuff said. Â
newton_eagles Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 If its true I heard Mart is moving down to 1a next year. Does anybody know if this is true? Also heard that Kirbyville is moving down to if so next year STATE CHAMPIONS so you think kirbyville is just going to march right over newton and tatum if they move down?
BACK IN THE DAY Posted November 19, 2007 Report Posted November 19, 2007 They weren't very focused for the game that could have given them a least a piece of the district championship? ..Yikes...Makes you wonder what they're playing for. A good coach has his team ready for the games that matter most. I guess thats why Valastro has a ring and Haynes doesn't.
bob_sakamano Posted November 19, 2007 Report Posted November 19, 2007 "Velastro was a nothng more than an assistant on a state team"Coach Valastro has three state championship rings. Two as an assistant, and one as a head coach.
