just a meaningless question/comment on Dayton

why did they take the names off the back of the jerseys? Them along with us were 2 of the regular teams that had the names.

the comment is I was really impressed with the football stadium in Dayton. It was a very nice place to see a game.

I know exactly why. The names were removed by Coach Stewart after the West Orange-Stark game.

"The kids were playing as individuals and not like a team," said Stewart. "I removed the names after that night to let them know that they were not more important individually than the team."

they know that they play as a team without them.

they are not playing for the name on the back of the jersey....

they are playing for the name on the front.
