Great win for the Hawks.  Argyle was red hot and HJ was sluggish in the first half.  To be honest from what I saw HJ was 15-20 points better than them.  Glad they were able to pull it out.  Time to bring home the championship.  They should've had one already.

It paid some dividends in the 4th for sure. But the press also put them at an 8 point deficit at the half.

Argyle was 6-8 from 3 in the 1st half.  Hard to shoot like that all game.

Full court pressure and feeding/working the ball low turned it around. 
 

of course it helped that Argyle’s shooting slowed down. 

also half court defense was able to force bad shots and turnovers.

You’re not going to create a lot of turnovers, nor are you going to force them into bad shots.

You try and beat them by playing fundamental half court defense and contesting every shot.

I am too, because I was told HJ got into half court man in the 3rd and got Argyle's star player in foul trouble, which mounted the comeback.  It didnt hurt either that HJ's mcdonalds all american took over the game, in the 2nd half.

 

1.  HJ should have won

2 HJ did win

3 HJ would have won by 20 had they not been in full court pressure during the 1st half and got behind the 8 ball
