OneChance Posted March 14, 2022 Author Report Posted March 14, 2022 They lost in the Elite 8 on Saturday night, what a ride that was. If you have a daughter that wants to continue to play basketball after High School, do not blow off Div 3 schools. Div 1 is obviously the big dogs, yes Div 3 does not pay “athletic money” but my daughter is getting an absolutely awesome education at a very very discounted price with grants and scholarships. She is having one of the best college experiences possible. My oldest daughter attends Texas A&M and tells us all the time that she wishes she was having the same experience as her younger sister. I played a couple of years of soccer at ETBU, and had a blast! You're absolutely correct that D3 is a great option for kids without offers who'd like to continue their playing experience a few years. Division 3 schools beat D1 and D2 teams every year. Non athletic scholarship should be confused with lack of talent. Congrats to your daughter on what sounds like an incredible season.
