thetragichippy Posted March 22, 2022 Report Posted March 22, 2022 Not really, at least not yet..... The question is, when do we stop trying to erase the past or conform to everyone's feelings?? Quote

Hagar Posted March 23, 2022 Report Posted March 23, 2022 I’ve been an advocate for Texas to secede for several years. I know. I know. To most it sounds absurd. Many would suffer, at least financially, and I’d be one of those. It’s not an action with a mountain of positives & few negatives. It’d be an extreme sacrifice for many. But what major endeavor is not? Wasn’t the Revolutionary War filled with sacrifice? Even the failed attempt of the Confederacy. But the positives, Imo, outweigh the negatives, especially in the long term. I don’t think there would be an armed conflict. One in nine in our military is from Texas. No way most of them would attack fellow Texans. I won’t elaborate any more on this because I think to few will back it and it’s quite possible it’s to late. Cest la vie. Quote
