HJ LADY HAWKS WIN BAYTOWN CHAMPION !!!!!!!

With victories over Friendswood,Hitchcock,Lufkin and Galveston Ball the Lady Hawks won the championship of the Baytown Lee Invitational tourney Saturday night.The HJ group won this one with pure old fashion defense while getting solid contributions from every player on the roster.This has to be a huge confidence booster for these young ladies because some of the teams they beat in this tourney are good solid ballclubs.I was impressed with Galveston's athletes but the finals probably should have been Lufkin and HJ,both these clubs could go.This is still a young club with the potential to be pretty good.Good luck next weekend Lady Hawks.

MOSTLY 5A......a few 4A.  HJ was the only 3A team in the 16 team tourny.  Hitchcock, 2A was also in it.
