High Scoring Games

The depth of the staff(Pitching and Lineup) plays a lot into it. Fielding in a big key also. Usually the team with the least errors get the W. Also some teams could very well be on their A game and nothing goes wrong for them. There are a lot of talented teams and then there are some teams that just aren't great.( Trying not to disrespect any team )

Just two examples:

Silsbee vs WOS game I would say Pitching and depth of lineup. Silsbee is very solid especially if Simmons is on the mound.

OF vs LCM game I think the game would have been a lower scoring game if Landry didn't get hurt. OF is another team with a solid lineup that when they get on a roll they are hard to stop.

22 5A played 3 games last week. Needless to say things got interesting on Tuesday.

RSS beat REL 21-11 in 5 innings. Lee is improved had been very competitive all year.

Lack of pitching depth was the biggest issue for both teams.

3 games in 1 week is rough on high school pitching staffs. All arms on deck in 3 games a week schedule

One big thing to me that also plays a factor is fielding. Teams not making routine plays in the field and allowing extra base runners plays a big role as well.

That goes under (fielding) talent
