Mike MacEachern was named AD at Pflugerville last night. There should be quite a bit of interest in this one.

I'm not sure I will ever get used to LCM having a coach that other teams want to poach. Its certainly a good problem to have but it makes me uneasy lol.

Yes.. his previous job will get a TON of interest.  Huffman is a good school and has good facilities.

I am just hoping that Huffman at least spends some time considering outside applicants. The district typically tires to hire from within or tries to being in home town folks for these types of positions. I understand the strategy, but with the anticipated population growth, the facilities, and the 8th grade group that is about to hit HS, I believe we will have some real impressive coaches interested. Let's hope the school board stewards this process correctly so we can be in the best position possible for success in the next few years.

I am curious as to why this job isn't posted on the Huffman ISD website yet. Seems they would be wanting to move rather quickly on this hire since it's so late in the year.
