The M3 Band competed in the Peabody HS Battle of the Bands in Alexandria, LA about 3 weeks ago.

1st place Dance Line

1st place Flag Line

1st Place Large Band Division

I just wish WOS band can be original… us Lincoln Alumni don’t like how they stole Zodiac! Only the marching swarm could play it the best!

I believe the director is from Lincoln. But what about Zodiac. What is this you claim we stole?

The band won 4 stars in this competition.

1^st place band

1^st place flag core

1^st place dance team

Grand championship

 

The following week this past Saturday October 7^th the band place 2^nd only to Port Arthur Memorial

They won 1^st place flag core and 1^st place dance team.

sorry for replying a year later lol...zodiac is the song we played right at kickoff with the long drum roll. when memorial formed, they didn't play it anymore because that was a lincoln song. matter of fact, it was written by a lincoln band member fro the 70's.

Better late than never. OK you're right about that. He brought that with him. We had a drum cadence in the 90s called Zodiac. Thought that's what u reefered to. They don't play any of our old head traditions anymore.

Lincoln was the most fun game for us in the band. We loved watching them have fun out there. They'd almost "make love" to their drums.
