Grand Canyon team with 2 very impressive wins vs. #4 ranked Texas Tech with 9-4 & 8-7 scores on 4/5 & 4/6.

Grand Canyon has also beaten #11 Arizona 19-3, #5 Oregon  State 13-7 this year.

I guess I hadn't really paid attention to the teams in the WAC these days.  When the cards joined the WAC I looked at it as a major step up for Lamar, but it's really not much better than the sunbelt, if at all, considering the new teams the sunbelt has brought in.

the whole thing reeks of incompetence.  But I do think the SLC is a better place for them.  Hopefully the new AD does a better job.

Key word is incompetence. I agree Southland is best for Lamar & have to hire a better AD.
