We talk about how Rusk is ranked with a losing overall record… what’s a travesty is Carthage not being ranked. Yeah they are 13-8 but they have split with #22 Rusk and #16 Lufkin Hudson. A one run loss to # 8 Pleasant grove. They also have the only win this season over 3A #6 Diboll.

They would look better at #25 than 15-10. Alot of teams with worse records ranked above #11 OF. Is it another case of a weak district or what? Who did they lose and tie?

In the case of Rusk, it is because JD Thompson P (Vanderbilt) was out for the first part of the season.

Like I said before it's a joke poll if you are ranking a team based on 1 player playing or not. Rusk has lost 3 more games since vandy boy came back so get that outta the rankings & rank a team that has won more all year

Without a doubt Carthage should be ranked top 15.

Understood. And "right now", Rusk is ahead of Carthage and in 1st place in the District which actually "means something" and is "not opinion". May be different in a week but at this moment Rusk is in 1st place.

Rusk also has gotten to knock out their 4 games vs Palestine and Center lol

The only time it means something when a team is in 1st place in district,  is when they finish district play in 1st. When Rusk does that they will have accomplished something that is fact & not bs opinion. I assume Vandy guy will play in the remaining 4 games vs. Hudson & Jasper so according to the THSB POLL peeps that should be an easy 4 wins & district championship. 😎

He will pitch in two of those games. He has been pitching on Tuesdays. Circle is who I have seen pitch on Fridays. Thompson usually plays CF when not pitching.
