Trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the 7th Lamar scored four runs to take a 5-2.

Starting pitcher Adam Wheaton pitched 7 1/3 innings giving up the two runs (only one earned) as again the defense committed two errors.

Jack Dallas pitched the final 1 1/3 to earn another save.

Rubber game of the series Sunday at 1 pm.

Yes indeed, hopefully Lamar will put it all together and get the much needed win. 2-6 in this season’s final conference game in the series and now 2-3 vs UTRGV this season. Hopefully 3-3 after tomorrow
