Kountze prior to this year had only ever played a play in game to make the the playoffs several years ago. They fell to New Waverly 6-4 in the Area round last week. This team is made up mostly of freshman and sophomore’s and will compete for a state championship IMO over the next couple years. Proud of how far my hometown program has come. Quote
