[UT alum]

I wrote a poem/song I just had to share with you folks. The title is the title,and it’s based on experiences of people I know.

My Baby is a pioneer, 

I’m tellin’ you she has no fear

She joined the carpenters local

When they were just a bunch of yokels,

They tried to shame her 

But she never showed a tear.

Well, her foreman fired her ‘cause she was a girl,

The union took her cause up in a whirl

Her lawyer won her case,

Then tried to give her a chase

When she just stopped by to get what she deserved

You can b*tch about Woke

Til your voice box is broke

And it ain’t gonna change the facts

It’s a white man’s world,

You can ask any girl,

Chances are she’ll say kiss my a**.
 

I got a buddy’s who’s a mighty fine man.

Only problem, he’s darker than tan.

When he crossed the street,

The cop on the beat

Wanted to whip him just as hard as he can.

 

Oh, this old world ain’t too fair

Unless you got white skin and straight hair.

As for everybody else, you can ask ‘em for yourself, 

That is, if you really care.

You can bi*ch about Woke

Epic fail when calling everyone a "racist" to cover for your own failures. You should be embarrassed and deeply ashamed (I know your parents are). But society has given you a free pass. How's that for a rebuttal! I'm guessing you are pissed off now...in the same manner you tried to elicit...but failed. Did I succeed? Your response will be telling.

How about re-evaluating yours and her (and whoever else) situations to expose the realization that racism wasn't the problem...it was personal failure all along. It's too easy to stereotype, which exudes the stench of laziness. You must have learned this from Biden. He blames more people for his own failures than anyone I've seen...well, until now.

How I would love to have the ability to blame all of my failures on something like skin color or gender, but then that would just lead to personal failure. "...and that's the truth..."

There is a topic in the football section about coaches favorite sayings. I don't know if anyone has listed this one, but it seems very appropriate here. "Excuses are like buttholes, everyone has one...and they always stink."

Kudos for the ability to rhyme though. In my response I considered breaking out my inner Dr. Seuss, but this topic just isn't worth a second thought.

They are so dumb that they think Trump is a good businessman. He inherited his wealth, and squandered most of it before having his daddy bail him out lol. Scam after scam, grift after grift. I consider myself an independent, I see good from both parties... I'll refuse to vote for Don the Con, D's aren't doing good either... hopefully 2024 will bring out some new candidates.... D's will be dumb to pick biden or Hillary, R's will be dumb to pick the one term loser who couldn't win a 2nd term! Then claim fraud knowing this dude was trash and disliked... seriously can't make this stuff up
