4-3 vote is very close on such a divided subject. The bigger problem is the obvious division of school leadership that will continue to be a challenge for all decisions.

Who wants to raise their kids in a failing school district with the school board arguing over the naming of a stadium instead of arguing over what to do about the failing district?

Add the violent crime of Beaumont versus surrounding cities and you can figure out why folks that do move here choose the smaller towns.....
