Bon_Mot Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 I can say honestly, from what I've seen the officials in this area are much better compared to the rest of the state. This chapter's big problem is a lack of numbers, though. And the problem is only getting worse as new teams are coming in. soccermom Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 I agree with the lack of numbers. Several of the games last year - there were only 2 officials. I do not believe that they can accurately call a game with only 2 officials - especially varsity games.
bullets13 Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 i've been tempted to start reffing again, but i don't really like running much anymore

We NEED you!I agree with the lack of numbers. Several of the games last year - there were only 2 officials. And they don't usually play nice either.
soccermom Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 I could see that getting ugly fast :o There is no way one official can see the whole field of play. I guess we were fortunate to have two :)
reccosdog Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 We definitely could use more officials, 3 at each game would really be great. I can't imagine 1 person officiating a high school game. I did see that happen a couple of years ago at a tournament in Santa Fe. That was not good at all.
