Great 2022 run by Coach Bunner & his Diboll Lumberjacks finishing 38-5 & winning a district championship plus a few other trophies\plaques on the way to a 3rd place state tourney finish. Congrats, I'm sure all of Diboll, Vidor, Coach Green & Coach Gilligan are proud.

I feel sorry for that kid... multiple things happen like leaving the bases loaded 3 innings in a row. But the only thing that will be remembered is the drop at the end.

Its a tough thing. You are right, nothing is remembered except the last play. Like a guy averaging 26 ppg and 11 reboundsand hits clutch buzzerbeaters, but misses a freethrow at the end, or clutch FG kicker that won games, but missed an extra point in the finals.

I feel so bad for that young man. He fought the sun all game in right field and flat out dropped a routine fly ball to send Diboll into the Championship. Diboll also left 10 runners stranded after loading the bases in the 1,2,and 3 innings. Brock had 3 earned runs out of the 7 they scored. Best team in Diboll history though…but I was sure hoping they could bring home the hardware to Deep East/SETX.
