Bridge City 11 year old All-Stars continued their tear thru the District 32 Tournament with 19-4 blowout win at Nederland Tuesday night, with the help of a few errors committed by Nederland.

B.C.  blanked Vidor 10-0 in the 1st rd.  then beat  Hamshire-Fannett 21-7 in round 2. B.C. has outscored their 3 opponents by a combined 50-11. 

The victory by Bridge City puts them into the District 32 Championship that will be played 6 pm Thursday evening at Nederland or Port Neches. 

The Mid-County rivals will meet for a second time Wed. night at 7pm in Pt. Neches after Nederland won the first meeting 6-5 on Saturday. 

Port Neches earned a rematch with Nederland after eliminating Hamshire-Fannett 18-1 Tuesday.

Nederland 11's were up  7-2 after 4 innings with Knopp on the mound keeping the Pt. Neches bats in check until he reached the 85 limit pitch count & had to be pulled. Pt. Neches then put up 13 runs on Nederland's bullpen the last 2 innings to take a 15-7 lead. Nederland would score 4 more runs to finish out the game to close the gap & make the final score Pt. Neches- 15   Nederland- 11.
