I'm surprised Chapel Hill didn't start #1

I know that offense will be even more potent this season if they stay fairly healthy.

I think I agree. Their QB was just a Freshman last year. Right?

Stephenville I think is a solid 1 though.

QB and RB were freshmen. Lots of youngsters on that squad this season still. They were a year ahead of schedule last season.

Doesn’t La Vega return a lot this year? I thought I read somewhere they did.

yes sir. 8 on offense & 3 on defense.  that what the 8/3 represents  beside their name.

9-4 is last year win-loss record.

8/3 is returning starters. Offense/Defense

Okay makes sense now. Thank you. La Vega is always tough. But 8 returners on the offense will make them extremely tough.

yes sir.

a couple seasons ago over at the other website the talk of course was the dominate run Carthage had been on. I took upon myself to remind them that LaVega was doing dominate things themselves.

2015-2019 Waco LaVega was 71-6. That stretch included 3 title game appearances(winning 2 the 2019 title game they lost to Carthage). 2015 they beat Carthage in playoffs 39-3 on their way to winning state title.

that same stretch Carthage was 70-7 winning 3 titles.

pretty darn good(both programs)

#1, #2 and #7 in the same district....whew!!!!

China Spring has a big question mark at QB..going to be interesting how they handle the move up to D1 and the grind of a tough schedule where more teams will be able to wear em down

I personally feel we over-ranked Calallen and Celina but the computer loves those two

Seems like wherever Rio goes he produces high quality talent on the offensive side of the ball. All the way from Tyrik Rollison at Sulphuric Springs to the Brisbane kid he has now. Crazy part is that if he didn’t have to kick his starting qb off the team he’s probably playing for a state title last year. Dude can flat out coach offensive football.

I think a healthy Chapel Hill is a title contender this year too though. Riordan has basically proved if you give him the guys he can beat your guys. Very impressed how fast he’s gotten CH there against that level of competition in that area.

Seriously, Vidor probably beats lumberton and lcm regardless of rank. It doesnt matter how high they are ranked because they arent getting past anyone in that top 10 list

Hmm i have more faith in lumberton this year. LCM better win this one or vidor will be close winning the series between the two.

Since nobody has faith in LTown I’ll throw some their way. After watching them smoke every school in the area this year in track, they have the speed to give this district problems. Hopefully this success will translate to the football field for them. We will find out soon. Here’s to an injury free year for all our teams!

Can they carry a football and still have that track speed will be a test. Also without blocking it doesn't matter. Ask El Campo there oline didnt stop LCM defense

Im hoping LCM meets up with them again i have a ricebird as a neighbor i would sure like to see them beat them again. He told El Campo had more talent on the field lol. They had two good running backs. If our qb didnt get hurt i think we would have played better against CHill

Not downgrading Vidor, just thought they should have been in the top 20.
