Silsbee scrimmages

Aug. 11    Livingston     5pm    Tiger Stadium

Aug. 18   Orangefield   5pm     Tiger Stadium

Both of these games have been moved to the opposing teams field.  Turf being installed on Tiger Stadium may not be finished those weeks.

I'll be attending the Dayton vs Huffman scrimmage this Friday, interested to see if the Broncos can give Lil' Tex something to look forward to this year. I'll also be attending the BH vs Shadow Creek scrimmage on the 19th.

Shadow Creek will be a nice team to see & good test to gauge B.H. offense vs. a legit D.

The Shadow Creek Sharks rolled to a district title a year ago and could be poised to challenge for a regional title in 2022 with 13 starters returning, plus help from a JV team that posted an 8-2 record. The offense is led by QB Butler (1,922 yards, 29 TDs passing) and RB Burton (760 yards, 8 TDs rushing), while ATH Washington averaged 6.5 yards per carry a year ago and will be utilized all over the field. Where the Sharks will really be elite could be on the defensive side of the ball where they have multiple FBS prospects led by DEs Randle (42 tackles, 5 sacks) and Taylor (18 tackles, 4 sacks). LB Edmonson (72 tackles, 3 sacks, 1 INT) is the top returning tackler, while junior DB Williams (47 tackles, 1 INT) is a four-star prospect who already holds double digit offers.

Top Players- DB Maurice Williams (6-2, 185, 4.5), QB Duke Butler (6-1, 175, 4.5), DE Theorin Randle (6-2, 265, 4.9), DE Zion Taylor (6-2, 230, 4.8), LB Robert Edmonson (6-1, 200, 4.7), ATH Jacob Washington (6-1, 180, 4.6). Top juniors: LB Ethan Judge (5-11, 180, 4.8), RB Tylik Burton (5-9, 170, 4.7). Top sophomore: WR Jacorey Watson (6-0, 165, 4.5).
