I agree. That QB is legit and will probably have LRA primed for a run this year. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them in the Regional Final.

They may or may not be underrated this year, I don't know, but in the past years they have been the most overrated, overhyped team in SETX. After chest thumping through a very weak district, in the playoffs they melt like a Sno-Cone in the August heat. 

I am hearing good things about Anahuac right now. It seems to be on the rise.

2018 lost a close game to Grandview by 2 in OT I believe, the next yr lost by 2 TD's. 2020 I wanna say they had another close game with someone, and of course the LRA loss last season by 9 I think. 

 

EDIT: EC lost to Yoakum 37-35 in 2020.

Yep, making the playoffs are usually not a problem for them. Super easy to do in one of the weakest 3A-D1 districts in the whole state. Of course they have occasionally missed out on that too. Subtract the Beaumont skill boys they brought in and EC is nothing. All I am saying is that for the all the EC hype they rarely go past 2nd round. 

If you want to compare look at 3A-D2 Newton. They are a real threat to win State each and every year. EC is not even close to being in that conversation. But whatever, hype 'em on.
