I understand the maintaining of the turf.  I guess my statement should be:  In addition to the turf upgrade, the stadium also needs this this and that.....#notmadatPAISD

I love the upgrades we have made at WOS. Restrooms are much better than the old horse trough. But these are all amenities for fans. Athletes need a quality playing surface. Isn't that why we're here?

The practice field turf at the HS was in better shape than the game field. But not anymore. I agree if the bathrooms and concession stand and locker rooms could get a facelift it would be one of the better stadiums in setx because how great the parking lot is.

Once a school commits to turf they have to commit to the 10-12 year replacement cycle. It's not a one time investment. All area turf schools will have the same "down the road" cost.

But it's nowhere near the initial cost of the first time turf.

Seen the new turf today, looks great, still a few things they have to get done, but they should be done faster than what was expected. 😎

I can't post the pictures that were just sent to me, but looks like all that's left is finishing putting the logo at midfield. I got a closer look at the new videoboard, I can now say I can stop complaining that we don't have one near the size of New Caney's. 😎

Yes. I've been complaining for years for one. Hopefully it doesn't break like the one at The Butch.

That’s great! Hopefully they do something with the speakers, I remember they weren’t the best. I’m assuming with the new score board it came with new ones.

The speaker system been fine for years. (At least since 2016)

 

The day we get new locker rooms and new concessions I'll go streaking. It's not happening anytime soon.

I went to a soccer game and it was staticky pretty bad. Might have been just that day not sure. 
 

I wish it would happen for y’all sake would put y’all right behind the Butch for sure for 2nd best in the area. No question on it.
