Yes she was. Still the winningest coach in Texas in regard to career wins. I believe over 1300. Not sure any coach will reach that mark.

Head to head would be first. Sterling owns the head to head versus Nederland. Lets say Crosby, Nederland, and Sterling all end up tied... Depending on what is in the district minutes it could go a couple of ways for tie breakers...

1. Head to head 

2. 3 way tournament (play in type game)

3. coin flip for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th

Once again I do not know what is the minutes for 17-5a. But I have seen all the above situations take place.

With the eye test, yes, they should be the best.  For whatever reason though, Sterling hasn't performed very well this year.  Not sure if it is just disappointing play or coaching, but something is off there.  If Crosby is able to pull of the win against Sterling then 2nd through 4th will be a toss up.

Barbers Hill has clinched the district championship and number one seed with two games remaining. This is the 17th district championship for the Lady Eagles since the program began in 2002. Congrats ladies.

Crosby, PNG and GCM are still in the hunt for the final spot. 

Lee and PAM have been eliminated.

Oh boy, cool your jets, BH had 3 starters out. Congrats on the win but that was a lineup that had not seen the light of day and a freshman JV setter getting her first varsity playing time. Good environment but surely it was very obvious that was the not the same BH team that put a beatdown on Nederland just a few weeks ago.

BH will use it for motivation I am sure. It does not change the #1 seeding for BH at all.

No jets too cool, just gave Nederland team credit for getting a solid upset win over the top team in 5A. No disrespect to BH was stated at all, still one of the top vball programs in the state. Injuries & playing different lineups because of it are part of every teams season, so if you want to use it as excuses to down play the Nederland ladies beating BH & blame the loss with your opinion on the BH ladies in the lineup cool. I am positive the BH coaches will not. Wish BH & Nederland a good playoff run.
