Diboll Hunnington Palastine westwood Coldspring Shepherd Woodville Crockett Shepherd moving out of the powerhouse district in 4a D2 as well as Woodville moving into district 9, it should really shake some things up come the last week of the season. Many still have Diboll as the favorite and Coldspring as a contender, but let's not forget that Shepherd has had Coldsprings number for the last several years. Several key pieces from that team return, including two-way dynamo WR/DB- Zach Phipps (18-380, 3 TDs receiving; 44 tackles, 5 INTs) and DL- Elijah Freeman (76 tackles, 14 TFL, 6 sacks). QB- Hayden Harris (392 yards, 2 TDs passing; 306 yards, 4 TDs rushing) is back to lead Diboll’s ground-oriented attack. RB/LB- Easton Dean (1,143 yards, 13 TDs rushing) had a great sophomore campaign and could be a force for Coldspring. QB/DB- Luke Monroe (362 yards, 4 TDs passing; 173 yards, 4 TDs rushing; 2 INTs) got it done on both sides of the ball a year ago.
