Just from reading about teams it appears to me that Nederland won’t be that great this year, but you could be right with it being the first real game of the season. Either way I’d be surprised if WOS lost this one.

I would be too,  but one thing Nederland they hardly ever beat themselves. You gotta come to play.

Suspect you’ll see an entirely different Bulldog team next Friday.  Tradition demands it.  Of course WOS has some “T” going on also.  Should be one of the best opening night games.

Yes I agree Nederland will come to fight and are very discipline.

Don’t sell Nederland short. I think WO-S wins but not in a blowout. All the BS about the senior leaving.It was because some of the sophomores were beating the seniors out of their positions.

Just like the years before we lost key players that quit, or larry gave them the boot, and i thought ole lordy .but the others stepped up , and displayed their talents, and the dogs over acheived our expectations , and did alright!

I see texan live letting the games ride live again. When will they have all the games up that they will broadcast for the week.

Never underestimate the SOPHs.

However this week I roll w/ Stangs.

Could be ugly If Silsbee adds one to their loss column as well. 

Miracles like last year are hard to come by.

Staying focused on the first game will be key.  If the sophomores are up to the challenge then it will be a good game.  If not it will be a long night for the dogs.  2016 (I think) all over again  Good luck to both teams.

I may find out if Gary Stelly is going to the game as a spectator, if so I'll just get him to call the game to me on the phone.
