southeast texas school districts here s a wagon you should jump on and never get off of

Administrators have become more about people pleasing instead of laying the law down.  Discipline  is the number 1 reason there are so many staff vacancies.

hats off to those that still woop that tail….your actually doing more good then all these so called behavior specialist.  A piece of oak or some supposedly highly educated person.  The oak works and is a whole lot cheaper.  Case in point lack of discipline has taken over since corporal punishment got pushed out and these so called specialist took over.  Results don’t lie

That isn’t only with punishment or school but with any endeavor.

Incentives, whether positive or negative, is almost always the determining factor in behavior. 

Therein lies the reason that social programs generally don’t work. Obviously some programs are life savers for some motivated people (going back to incentivizes) but for a substantial percentage of people, it is a justification to fail or never strive to improve.

Good!!   I always told the staff to bust mine’s asses.  Lack of discipline is a major problem with today’s youth, and starts at home.
