I know it’s just the first game but that Vidor offense doesn’t look very crisp so many flags and no explosive plays. The defense looks like they don’t want to tackle anybody not just Miller I mean anybody. They just look defeated already, like they don’t want it. Big step back from last years scrappy little team but we lost some key players to graduation so who knows maybe they figure it out later in the season. I’m out of here boys, good luck to Silsbee y’all look pretty good this year, we got a lot of work to do in Pirate Land.

No doubt about it. Not taking away from Silsbee because they have a good team an some next level athlete’s but this doesn’t look like Pirate Football.

One thing I want to see out of Silsbee is them playing well for four quarters.

They had a bad habit last year of not doing that.

We’ll Silsbee is a State ranked team so they are a formidable opponent. Now if Vidor looks like this next week against Santa Fe then it may be a long season.

True, but pre-season state ranked doesn’t always mean a lot. Time will tell for the Pirates.

Don’t mean to sound like a Monday morning QB but I started wondering about the comments by some (including Coaches) about best condition group.  Really fired up.  Etc etc.  Trying to fire them up?  No idea what the problem is but I hope they figure something different out.  What they doing now isn’t working.
