2022 Pick 'ems - Weekly Results

1st week was always the worst for me. Hard to know exactly what to expect. Some did well, and others well... don't give up. It's a long grind of a season that will be over in a flash.

Got to keep my streak of top 5 overall finishes. Streak is at 7 years now looking for 8. Been overall winner 3 times (most of anyone since we started the pickems).

Since you asked.

In the past, Todd and I always had games in the pickems that had both teams in our coverage area. Those games took priority over games that had only one team in our coverage area. Less criticism that way.

Good to know. I've been trying to spread it around in the preseason. Probably tighten up a lil more with district games. Gotta add that 2a d1 to the mix now as well. Its actually more work than I thought. Todd was master of all this. Picks, schedules, scores, multiple sports at the same times. That man never stopped.

District play actually starts this week for 8-5A DI (Goose Creek Memorial, Baytown Lee, Baytown Sterling, Crosby, Kingwood Park, La Porte, Barbers Hill, Porter, Port Arthur Memorial)

I think you're doing great! This is my first time getting in on the picks and I've really enjoyed it, even though I'm not very good at it. Thanks for all the hard work, I know how much time this takes and its appreciated.
