Yes. This is actually true. No more North Shore vs BISD. Or Newton vs Kountze. Paraphrasing an old retired coach. "Sorry guys, the easy girls have left already." The metrics for choosing games have gotten tighter as the season goes. Playoffs should be interesting too.

No clue.  Going to look back and see if I can find some previous years in old posts.  I can’t ever remember a season where 5 people had a legit chance to win on the final week.  Of course, that could be because I’m usually 10-15 picks back and not paying attention…

Should there be a tie-breaker for next week on the pretty good chance there will be a tie at the top?  Maybe a game where we pick total points or something?

I know for me personally, I have finished with a higher win total before but not real sure it's the highest of all time.

For a few years the pickem was strictly a regular season gig. Some years it included the playoffs and here recently it was done as a regular season winner, a playoff winner and a overall (reg and playoffs combined) winner.

Yeah, just went and found last year’s, and you had 218, which we may not reach this year.

Most likely 2020, I think, 5a and 6a started a month later would be the highest totals.

I do like the idea of a potential tie breaker. Maybe a Saturday game, with points. What yall think?

Could come up with one now, or just wait and see if it’s needed.  But yeah, pick the winner, and closest to total points.  I also like the idea of the submission on those being made privately to you.  The reason being, let’s say bobcat and AAW tie.  If bobcat posts his pick first, AAW could just look at his choice, pick the same team, and just make an over or under bet on the score.

I’m still waiting on my prize from last year. AAW said it was mailed???
