What game were you watching. Your team only had 45 total yard penalties should have been more. I'm not the only one who saw the refs take away 2 points when we were clearly in the end zone. The refs made some bad calls PERIOD!

So you’re not going to give any specific examples except a 2 point conversion attempt that shouldn’t have happened in the first place?

Make the plays you're supposed to and you don't have to rely on officiating good or bad.

I like WOS by 6

I agree with u.bcz,w.o still made some dumb penalties on there own.but, they will learn and keep going.if png can't run the ball half way descent.theyre gonna get blew out !!

Indians by 14! Both the coaches and and players had major nerve issues vs Memorial and were never able to shake it. We saw what PNG now has to offer this last Friday vs. BU. I have watched them practice and Friday was more indicative of what I have watched them do at these practices. Currently PNG's strength is spread the field and let the QB sling it! Mix in some power run game that continues to develop and they will start to play keep away (ball control). That is what killed us with the previous Teams and Staff. The defense will continue to develop and gain confidence and that will be trouble for opponents  as the season goes. I firmly believe the Indians have a chance to contend for a DC as i think FB and Texas City are not what they have been in the past and are beatable. The new coach made a noticeable adjustment  from week 1 and it showed. In the past thats what was missing, no changes were made we just continued to do the same thing and expected different results each week...We know the definition that is LOL. The one main thing that is a threat to PNG is an injury bug.... PNG has 1 or 2 key players that if they lose them they go from DC contender to 4th or 5th place.

This may be the reason for a losing game against WOS. We have some strong running backs who will punish a defense who lacks confidence.

Why would a defense that gave up 81 total yards be “lacking” in confidence? On the contrary. PNG D better not be overconfident in practice this week. WOS is a different beast.
I will say that was the best pursuit and tackling I have seen from PNG in years.

I have and always and will respect WOS. I like to think of myself as somewhat of a PNG Football historian and can assure you the Indians have rarely beat WOS.

1977 WOS's first year  PNG 36  WOS 13

1978 WOS 28 PNG 20

1979 WOS 28  PNG 24

1980 WOS 36 PNG 24

1981 PNG 30 WOS 7

1982 PNG 19 WOS 14

1983PNG 17 WOS 14

1984 WOS 23 PNG 14

1985 WOS 11 PNG 2

1988 WOS 51 PNG 0

1989 WOS 25 PNG 20

1990 WOS 35 PNG 14

1991WOS 35 PNG 16

1992 PNG 14 WOS 13  My senior year. This is the game that Dan Hooks had to forfeit due to the use of an ineligible player PNG vs WOS would have been for the District Championship Coach Matt Burnett had the choice to play the game or skip it since technically the Indians where defacto district champs. Burnett did not want an asterisk by his name so he chose to play the game. The Indians won on a two point conversion attempt by WOS as time expired. The ball was fumbled at the goalline by the WOS player and a different WOS player recovered it thus nullifying the two point conversion and leading to a slim Indians victory.

1993 WOS 42 PNG 10

1996 PNG 35 WOS 7

1997 WOS 35 PNG 0

1998 WOS 17 PNG 12

1999 WOS 21 PNG 14

2000 WOS 7 PNG 0

2001 WOS 28 PNG 0

2002 WOS 3 PNG 0

2003 WOS 21 PNG 20

2012 WOS 24 PNG 13

2013 PNG 37 WOS 34

2014 WOS 33 PNG 27

2015 WOS 28 PNG 14

WOS has always had a magnificent program. I love it when we play the Stangs because you'll find very few teams to get you ready for district play our get you ready for the playoffs. This years team at PNG has a strong o line and a lot of experience. I do not know who will win but I bet it will be a great game. People can make what they want of the two lopsided games we have played this season. I have watched nearly every practice scrimmage and game this season trying to get an understanding of our new coaching staff and type of play. The only thing I can gather from all I have seen is this is a different team than the last years and they will be a very strong team by seasons end. So I will not predict a win against WOS and believe that they deserve the respect due to them. I will be there with the rest of you all attending hoping for a safe injury free game because after the Stangs we face FBM. So hats off to you WOS team and fans. You were the program of the last decade hands down and earned everything you obtained. Looking forward to the game and I am even excited to play over there. Best of luck we will see you at the game.

This game will be a god indication of our coaching staff and their ability to game plan. The passing game we used last week, will be non existent against WOS. Defensively WOS will play tight and bring pressure, you won’t see a CB playing 10 yards off the ball. I’m anxious to see how this shakes out. For PNG to win, I think it will need to be a strong performance by the O Line, Tommy will need to run for 100+ yards, and no turnovers on the PNG side, if we can do that, and make it a competitive game, we have a shot to win in the end. If we turn the ball over, as we did against Memorial, it will be a long night.

I remember that one. Most likely that was Kendall Cleveland at RB. BTW,  he's RB coach at Zachary HS in Louisiana. #1 team in all divisions after winning their 4th straight state championship.
